I hope they just red shirt him.

For folks expecting him to be a game changer, they will be very disappointed.
I've seen this type of situation 1st hand. The player coming in on our team was very talented but he never did gel with the team until the following season when he was able to practice every day with the team.

Pats has missed so much, its really a very difficult situation to put him in.

On the flip side, if he's been working on his PG skills & is in shape, he may help the team win 2 conference games instead of 1.

Also, if he redshirts he'll have two more years. If he plays, we'll have him for the games from Jan 26 through the end of the season and next year, and that's it.

I'm not sure about his eligibility. He only played one year @ Collin County & is a listed as a soph. If he redshirts, than he still has 3 left, right? Regardless, Doh will probably waste Pats full year of eligibility by playing him 10 or so games this season.

Pats should have Jan 26th through the end of this year and 2 more. You can't redshirt him, he's too damn old. You lose a year for every year you're over 21. Ahh, the international balla
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones
