The most important act is to pick someone who can win. Too often I read about good PR or looks or Texas ties. Let us get a guy who can win. It takes many things to put it together, however No one knows what it is until you get them on the job. A track record is the best sign and yet most of the candidates do not have a proven record as a head coach. Hats off to Jim Copeland, as his job is very difficult in selecting the new HC.
