air force broke out their "thunderbird" jerseys this afternoon.... OMG! what about tradition?

Are they black or their school colors in a different format? Inquiring minds want to know.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

not their "traditional" school colors
and technically their "normal" uniforms feature black...
so one jersey (that they have only worn twice) has Red and Blue
and their primary jersey has blue and black
Air Force Academy school colors:
Air Force Blue
Silver

Now that is a good looking jersey. Great colors.

That is not my problem...I didn't go to the AFA. I'll let them deal with it.

Yes the colors are close to Yale blue and Harvard red.
