Jimmy Tubbs to Throw Out First Pitch at Rangers-Yankees Game

SMU head men's basketball coach Jimmy Tubbs will throw out the first
pitch Tuesday at the Texas Ranger-New York Yankees baseball game. The
game gets underway at 7:05 p.m. central time at Ameriquest Field in
Arlington, Texas. KDFI will televised the ballgame.

Tubbs was named the 15th head men's basketball coach in SMU history on
March 26, 2004. Tubbs and the 2004-05 Mustangs will be announcing
their schedule for the upcoming season in a Mustang Insider in the near
future.

He should shake off the catcher and whip a slider in there. And yes, I'm guessing he can throw a strike.

How did this happen that he gets to do this? Awesome....
