Did Peruna make this the most famous ram in history? 75 years later and people are still investigating this murder.

By the way my nephew received a Book for Christmas published by a major national publishing company -something called "Badass"-it chronicles Badass leaders and figures throughout history like say Ghengis Khan. Well it also has a section on Badass animals and our favorite mascot-the one and only Peruna - is prominently mentioned including tales of killing the Fordham ram, mounting Happy the sad pathetic ridden Texas Tech horse etc. Peruna is published-it must be true. Here's the book I'm talking about. Go Peruna!!!

Maybe someone can ask Forrest Gregg if he ever asked Vince Lombardi about that. Lombardi played for Fordham at the time. Ray Schoenke also played for Lombardi when he coached the Redskins.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Oh great. That word is racist to me, an American Indian. Hate seeing it, hearing it. Still is damaging and shocking. It's a skinned red person in it's real meaning to us.

Alyssa don't get me started on the PC BS. Many schools with strong Native American heritage chose names of Native American tribes as their mascots as a way of honoring the heritage. William and Mary was a school formed for the education of indiginous peoples of Virginia and took the name Indians and when that was deemed offensive took the name Tribe and now the NCAA has deemed that to be offensive with any Native American reference. North Dakota with roughly 60% of the student population coming from Sioux tribes is deemed offensive by the NCAA. Sorry, but the Redskins are the team name of the Washington football team. Get used to it, because its not going to change.

Pretty soon all references to native americans will be eliminated and we call all quietly forget these people ever existed.
