Distractions

Postby PerunaPunch » Tue Dec 28, 2010 11:33 pm

Black uniforms
June to Maryland
June to stay
DJ ineligible
Turner vs. Orsini
June vs. Orsini
Turner vs. June
Admissions policies
Indoor practice facilities

Really?!?

If we lose to Army, you can lay the blame squarely at the feet of distractions. Listening to the interviews with Army, do those guys sound distracted at all? Hell no. They're laser-focused and coming to play with the enthusiasm that comes from decades without going to a bowl (sort of like we came out of the tunnel last year in Hawaii).

I know these are all issues that need to be addressed, but couldn't we have waited until next week for Pete's sake?

All that is exactly why the team has been in Fort Worth, practicing at a high school field, staying at a hotel and probably being kept away from all TV and radio and the concomitant sportscasts that could potentially get in the way of focusing on the game. Hopefully the coaches can shut all that stuff out of their minds while they prepare their game plan, too.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

I have never see such a confluence of whining speculation as has been disseminated here on PF the last few hours.

All this has to be an ARMY Black Ops to distract the PONIES from kicking their collective [deleted]!

Forget all the fracken disinformation and lets all support our PONIES here and now!

STOP WHINING, SHOW UP, AND CHEER ON THE PONIES TO THEIR SECOND CONSECUTIVE BOWL VICTORY!

I guarantee you'll feel better Thursday evening.

Friday you can all self destruct as I'll be heading back to socal and be ever so thankful I'm a USC grad who is loyal through both the good and the bad.

GROW UP!

Sorry HB. Was out in OC and heard from some very connected boosters that Hayden and Kiffin don't see eye to eye. That and that the Trojans will be wearing orange and black to honor OSU for owning hem the past few years. And that Pete Carroll will not confirm that he has discussed coming back but has been offered 4mm to coach a college team

I agree with you HBPD this board has more [deleted] and whine than and opposition political party.
Now with the NCAA findings and the upright coach they hired you may have a long stretch of bad with USC. :P

Agreed, but we'll straighten it out long before my grandson ever completes second grade!

Agreed, I think the distractions are more in our minds than any of the coaches or players.

Anybody still want to argue this point? We look horrible, unfocused and distracted.

Is anyone honestly surprised? This team has been so inconsistent throughout the year that I knew this was bound to happen. I feel sorry for anyone expecting a Hawaii 2009 outing this year.

seems consistent compared to the last game we played in unfortunately. Kyle needs to settle in quickly!
