Over part of the intramural field, with iconic images of SMU greats all around it.

Destroy Meadows that the indoor practice facility may be built in its place. Two goods would be the result.

The hangup may be an issue of priorities. There are a lot of projects at SMU that need to be funded and athletics, I'm sure, has already cut to the front of the line several times. Plus, you don't want to constantly bombard your major donors with appeals from various departments all at the same time. There has to be a process, or else you end up chasing the big whale donors away because of constant harrassment.

And Meadows is greatness. Without Meadows, we'd just be a business school with a football team.

I thought there were going to be intramural fields south of the Bush Library. This would allow the construction of the IPF on part of the current intramural field property.

The fields seem to be in purposeful disuse and part of me expects framework to appear there anytime I drop by.

Turpin Stadium has already been built, right behind Crum.

It's being re-built. Current Turpin Stadium will be home to a parking garage and residence hall.

There is a throwing field in the space where the old Jack's Pub was on Yale. Not aware of any plan to move it, although that doesn't mean such plans don't exist.
