Re: June to Maryland reminds me ofSMU has a model in place, young talent on the roster, and a high caliber coaching staff. In short they are positioned well for future success.

Re: June to Maryland reminds me of
I was thinking specifically of Mike Cavan's first couple of years in which he was a .500 football coach, wins wise. And he did fairly well in recruiting those two years too. I think we can farily closely maintain where we are now if JJ were to leave. But his work to get us to where he got Hawaii is far from over.
Re: June to Maryland reminds me ofThe best way to judge a coach is, did he leave the program improved from when he got it. Even the biggest skeptic could not argue that June Jones will leave this program better than when he got here.
As to trying to improve your position. Name one of you on here that would not consider a higher paying job if offered to you. DBB
Re: June to Maryland reminds me ofI am pretty sure we could match almost any salary that he gets...I don't think thats the issue...
Re: June to Maryland reminds me ofmoney is overrated.
Re: June to Maryland reminds me ofThis is not about money....maybe some extra for assistants, but not for JJ...
