0-1 in bowls without Liberty and Justice in attendance

Postby Dooby » Thu Dec 30, 2010 11:13 pm

The title is about as meaningful as anything else being said today. Though, I doubt anybody reads this given the title.

Anyway, we have gone to bowls two years in a row. Our best years are ahead of us. I predicted 7 wins in the regular season and it looks like I was right. I would have preferred SMU playing better against Houston and Navy and the offense playing better against UCF and Army. I have lots of things I could quibble about this season and this game. However, I know that SMU lost its best offense and defensive player to the NFL last year and we still went to a bowl. I suspect we dominate C-USA West next season. I know that we will have the best recruiting class in 20 years. I suspect SMU announces an indoor practice facility within the next 6 months.

Good God, what any one of us would have given at the end of 2003 to be where we are today.

Pony up!
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Well, I lost the bet on all people....Dooby. I just knew Varsity Shop would be spewing that nonsense about the geldings....

Oh, and btw, we are 0-1 wearing the opposing team colors.

Those horses made the players walk. I assume they were sequestered for fear kf mass [deleted] during the flyover.

Damn right. I remember going winless and then going insane the next year with a win over San Jose State.

We have come a very long way and should be thankful for that - but not satisfied. I'm looking forward to opening 2011 in CS.

Flyover wasn't nearly low enough. Geldings had about as much effect on the game as the black unis did. It was a lack of concentration and focus, not to mention the BKs wanted it more. And it showed.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

Those were not Gluestick and Alpo...those were borrowed horses.

The Geldings are in Pasadena for the Rose Parade.

The fact that June Jones had to borrow horses to lead the team in the "Mustang Walk" says a lot about what he thinks of Peruna. I'm sure if he asked the Peruna Handlers to have Peruna lead the team through campus they would have been glad to support it.
