What is the deal? Why are we so damn bush league???? There were only two areas where pizza and Chik Fil A sold, which were miles away through throngs of people to get to. Then, lines were too long once you got there. The only thing of substance sold at the other spots were hot dogs, which were extremely salty and hard to get down. In the third quarter, I broke down and decided to fight the crowds to get a Campesi's pizza. Waited in line for 10 minutes during the game, get to the front of the line, and then the dude tells me its gonna be 10 more minutes on the pizza. What???? There's a frickin' game going on, dude!! Make more damn pizzas in the first place!!

welcome to Ford stadium. With a "sold out" house. I was a bit surprised with the lack of lines in the normal areas. Very manageable. I didn't venture out to get Pizza or anything b/c I loaded up before the game. There was a food stand that sold Soup, Sweet Potatoes and other things I didn't get to.
Game Councourse TV's were not on though

Buddy of mine was gone the entire third quarter in line for Chik-Fil-A. While I would not have waited for that, he had a hankerin'. They had so underestimated the demand, they were bringing more sandwiches from the Allen location.

Maybe it would be better to go to Chik Fil A and ask them to show the game. I gave up on concessions at any game anywhere years ago. I load up before and when I do have anything it is when Arkpony ventures out and picks something up for me for which I am always thankful.
I do understand if you have young'uns with you it is more difficult to ignore the concessions however. But from what I see on the prices I would have to cash in my 401K to get enough to please a few kids.

Pathetic. The lines were ridiculous. And yes this is a poor reflection on Steve Orsini who I am a big fan of. Why can't they hawk Chik-Filet sandwiches in the stands? They need to add many more food carts that sell certain items to help ease the lines at the main concessions.

I saw a number of Chic Filet hawkers, but concession lines were swamped, out of control bad.

SMU provided the stadium. Several aspects of the game were responsibility of Bowl. Not sure who was responsible for concesions.
All I know is every time I see those long, long lines, I think of all the lost revenue and fan experience.

I had 2 from my party go during the 2nd qtr and the concession closest to us was already out of water! Was glad I had gotten 1 before the game. Wouldn't the armed forces bowl be responsible for the concessions?

Well all of the people selling them had "SMU Concessions" or some such on their uniforms.

I was just in St. Louis for the Rams-Chiefs game and got a foot long brat, which was great. Maybe we should add this item along with some beer to the menu???? At least add St. Pauli Girl nonalcoholic beer if we can't have the real thing. Its by far the best tating beer I have had with or without alcohol!

We got in line (east side) at end of second quarter and didn't get back to our seats until the Mustangs first possession of 3rd quarter (?~5 mins into 3rd). Lots of comments from Army fans about how pi*s poor this was.
It did look like the signage was new at least....

We came as a group to support the local bowl, but bought VIP tickets for the pre game party and the post game party. Former was catered by Tia Rosa's and the latter by Blue Mesa, both out of Fort Worth. Lots of good food and we didn't have to drop any money on SMU concessions.

Nice job Amon Carter but you were supposed to bring a sack lunch
