Don't be shy - post and contribute. Donate to the MC -- http://smu.edu/mustangclub/I like to hear the new ideas coming around lately. Pony Up --- I really think we need a grassroots SMU fball marketing arm.

Any marketing arm would be better than the one we don't have now...
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

Having done my undergrad at a lowly state school with a fair basketball program, I’m really looking forward to cheering for a school during football season. It’s good to see that SMU has a pocket of alumni that bleed for SMU. Unfortunately, I think SMU has a long way to go and getting more involvement from all demographics will be vital to SMU’s long-term growth and success. As someone who will likely travel to away games I look forward to meeting many of you both at Ford and on the road.

I think i qualify as a newbie as well. Being from Estonia, followed Margus for his 2nd season. I think i managed to see around half of your games this season via internet streams, but tried to keep up to date throughout it reading these forums. Have grown very fond of your whole team. Pony Up
PS: Showed Pony Excess to few Estonian mates of mine around week ago and they loved it, with none of em besides me knowing anything at all about football.

Welcome, hint. Glad to have you, and your friends. Join in as often as you can. And please, if you have another like Margus around, contact Coach Wollman or Coach Jones immediately.

I'm a newbie and just registered. I come from a long line of SMU alums: mother and father met there, Mom was homecoming queen, sister was grad, including most of the cousins, aunts and uncles on my father's side. Bled red & blue throughout my youth. President Pye & Co. didn't accept me, though, and it's taken awhile to become an active fan again Anyway, I've had cursory interest in the Ponies ever since, and am happy to see a resurgence in their program.

Do you know any 6'8", 270-pound Austinian track stars who would like to train with Coach Wollman and Coach Jones? Send them to the Hilltop!
