Re: Death Penalty to Texas Tech?A older gentleman, since passed on many years ago, always instructed me to leave a minor error in his tax return. His theory, in an IRS audit, the "boys" will find it, feel satisfied and move on to the next case--never getting to the real issues.
Re: Death Penalty to Texas Tech?interesting theory.
sort of like my 'bait' at football games. we put a .375 of whiskey at the bottom of my wife's purse for the game, and then pile her junk on top, then throw a little airplane bottle on the top. CSC nabs the little bottle thinking they've busted us, meanwhile i've just paid $1 to bring my whiskey in w/o the discomfort of shoving a bottle in my boot, or pocket. Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Death Penalty to Texas Tech?Dutch...it doesn't have to be real whiskey!
Re: Death Penalty to Texas Tech?
good idea. put iced tea in there. Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Death Penalty to Texas Tech?
Don't give him any ideas, he is a troublemaker as it stands
Re: Death Penalty to Texas Tech?
We always called them a "fish". When you get your IRS audit and the auditor starts "fishing" for something in the return. When he catches the "fish", we all go home. Just send 'da money.
Re: Death Penalty to Texas Tech?I suspect the golf team is toast.
Re: Death Penalty to Texas Tech? Why can't the NCAA figure out how to go after the people who actually violated their rules and punish them in some form or fashion, rather than hurting the existing program (which might actually be clean) for current & future participants? That has always seemed to be a bassackwards punitive system to me.
And this is not just an SMU thing, either - it just has never made sense to me. Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.
