Are you and hansen buddies now? I would have thought after you called him arrogant on the ticket that he would hold it against you.

I forgot about your faculty connection.

Dale is the first to tell you he's arrogant. he considers it a compliment.

Hansen is a crusty old curmudgeon who still has a rapier-sharp wit and happens to talk about sports in Dallas from time to time. One of these days he'll say something that rubs the wrong person the wrong way and he'll get canned. Again.

And SMU will be around long after Hansen is gone.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

From a friend who works with Dale: "he's the most arrogant and unprofessional person I've ever worked with."
As this person put it to me, when he retires.. they'll hold a big party AFTER he's gone. Yikes.
