Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manSounds like Wilkerson has a good focus right now. If he maintains it throughout the season, he should be a hell of a lot of fun to watch.

Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manA lot of people say you don't appreciate something until it's gone. Wilkerson sounds like he has embraced that idea, and if so, he might come back better than before. Hope it doesn't take long for him to shake off the rust, and that he and Padron can get back on the same page quickly.
Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manYou never know we could see a very changed man, similar to Emmanuel after he got benched in 2008. Lets hope so because that was fun to watch.
GO Ponies!!!!
Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manIs he going to be a junior or a senior?
Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed mansenior, right? he redshirted in 2007.

Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manHe does the right things and puts in the work in all areas, no reason he shouldn't be able to make a significant contribution next season.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.
Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manBest wishes for those guys who are trying to get their life together and starting to concentrate on their studies and the reason you go to a college (albeit after two or three years!). I would rather see articles on the players who are doing things the right way both on and off the field. Maybe then we could recruit those type players instead of the "year or two and gone guys" who are being used to win some football games for a couple of years and then back on the streets or working in menial jobs after the "cheering stops".
Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manT is a really good friend of mine. I can assure all pony fans he is BACK! He has definitely took his time off to better himself. He will no doubt be the ultimate playmaker next season.
His statement was sincere and he is definitely a humble young man. He doesn't drink, go out, or have a entourageeeeeee. I wish I could lie...but that statement is NO LIE trust me! lol. I will let him know that the PonyFans are behind him 100% and keeping him accountable of his word! Just in case your wondering who the heck this is, I'm a senior sports journalist/junkie and SMU cheerleader! "You Gotta Dream Like You Never Seen Obstacles" -J. Cole
Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manJason Rivers was a wideout for Hawaii who played a season for Hawaii and then had to sit out the 2005 season for reasons probably not too different than Terrance Wilkerson. How did Jason Rivers do after sitting out a year (and realizing just how much he missed football)?
2006: 72 receptions, 1178 yards, 10 TDs 2007: 92 receptions, 1174 yards, 13 TDs The year after he sat out a season for academic reasons, this is what Jason Rivers did in his bowl game against Arizona State (a Pac-10 team, not a cupcake opponent): 14 catches, 308 yards receiving--the most receiving yards in recorded history for football bowl games. I know that Terrance has a hard road back, both in the classroom and on the field with his timing. I just wanted to post that it *can* be done.
Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed man
Wouldnt count towards eligibility
Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manEverything sounds good; however, the proof will be when he sets foot on the field for the first game next fall.
Re: TERRANCE WILKERSON: A changed manHe also had a bit of a bad reputation for hearing footsteps.
