Completed by Miami (OH) going 10-4 this year after finishing 2009 at 1-11.

I say that it still belongs to Hawai'i 0-12 in 1998 9-4 in 1999 JJ first year

Not in a million years. Miami is a lot like SMU. Seen as the school for smart, well off kids in Ohio (even though it's a public school). Absolutely one of the most beautiful campuses in the country, too.

First (and only, ever) double-digit losing record to double-digit winning record the following season, right? I'd count that as "biggest". Unless you count the pure difference in turnaround, then they're tied with Hawaii.
