such a great game -

i was in the 6th grade watching this game during my parents new year's eve party - everybody was in the living room going CRAZY!!!!!!!

I was fortunate enough to be in the nosebleed section of the Astrodome. The place was electric, and it was one of the greatest college games I have ever witnessed.

Tradition... These "Champion" photos should be plastered all through the Ford hallways to the lockerroom instead of team photos from the 90's....

I was there (Bluebonnet Bowl), too...and the cheerleader that's kissing me in the earlier post was sitting right behind me. She and I started leading cheers in the stands! What a great game! What great memories, too!

This is the 1950 team in front of their plane that will take them to play Ohio State. SMU won that game 32-27. Note that Braniff decorated the plane to 'cheer' on the Ponies.
