D Magazine - 20 Things to know about Dallas for 2011SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
Re: D Magazine - 20 Things to know about Dallas for 2011if we had 2-3 recruiting classes like the one coming in 2011 then that might be accurate-still not there talent wise to set the world on fire although I'm a big believer in experience which we will have plenty of.

The positive thing about that is that as you said, experience will help improve our team. Then by the time the current players graduate, their replacements will not have a drop off and once they are seniors then we can really have some fun!!!
