TCU will always be the ugly shltty school in fort worthless...everything is cyclical and we will see them on the way back down as we make our rise to the top. Would like to hang on to Wall, but if he doesn't want to be here why cry about it.

In two years we'll see how good they are going on the road agaist West Virginia, Pitt, etc. Its not like road games against UNLV and Wyoming for Christ's sake. Let them jump up and down climaxing over themselves for now. I agree we will see them on their way back down.

Reality Check. This is not June Jones v. Gary Patterson and there are no reported quotes from Wall to suggest that. Wall has not reported that it will come down to what head coach he likes more. This is TCU football with a decade head start v. SMU football in year three.

And for everyone that freaks out over black uniforms, take a look at what all of Wall's friends are saying about TCU's look. The younger fans, ie recruits, and their friends don't care about traditional looking uniforms they want cool and new. While I agree colors and uniforms should play absolutely no role in a recruit's decision, the reality of the situation is that these things do matter to recruits when they are making their choices. We should sign up with UA and be part of their movement into college football.

Is this becoming internet truth now. I've read both Scout and Rivals and there is no credible support for this-except one blowhard poster who typically comes up with this type of BS. BTW did he say anything about preferring to be a Horned Lizard rather two geldings too? We need to sell-out the entire heritage of the program to get Carter Wall. Hey maybe he thinks SMU's red jersies with six shoulder circles SUCK-which they do-and wants to wear a darker blue or even purple jersey because it makes his features stand out. I say we wear whatever Carter Wall wants us to. I'm blaming this on Cowpuke and Maybell.

What a STUPID hypocrite. You ramble for years about everything that SMU needs to do to improve recruiting, but when it comes to something as easy as making our football team more appealing to a younger generation of recruits by changing our uniforms, that is were you draw the line. Where has the "heritage of our program" taken us over the last quarter century? Moreover, the point does not just apply to Carter Wall, it applies to all young recruits who have no idea about the "heritage of the program".
