they suck -they have nothing to do with SMU and everything to do with June Jones University. However much bettter than sanskirt figures used by Gary Patterson to turn his program around.

Sanskrit is an Indo-European language and thus is related to Latin, which most universities use for their motto. More related to TCU than hawaiian is to SMU.

Sorry, I know this is old news and I'm late to the party, but I just had to post this comment to the live EDSBS comment thread about our bowl game:

"The SMU uniforms are America-hating at its finest Every single aspect of this game is as pro-America as possible (listen to podcast). Then SMUâ€”who wears red, white, and blueâ€”decides to bust out the black uniforms."

And that came from a non-SMUer.
