National signing day is exactly three weeks away. Rivals.com ranks UH’s commitment list of 20 players - which includes four junior college players who have already signed letters of intent and are expected to be in class when the spring session starts on Tuesday - No. 50 in the nation.
The top-ranked C-USA commitment list belongs to SMU (tied for 41st with Mississippi State). Eighteen of the 20 UH commitments have three-star rankings. SMU’s 27 commitments include 20 three-star prospects and one four-star player (Davon Moreland, a defensive end from Los Angeles).
Rivals.com ranks defending champion Central Florida third, Southern Miss fourth, Tulsa fifth, Marshall sixth and Rice seventh in the C-USA recruiting race.
