So are you wishing TCU goes 10-1?

What happened?? I thought most of you Pony fans were pulling for good old TCU! Remember, their success helps us right? TCU winning does not help SMU, this is just a small example of that correlation.
No self-respecting PonyFan pulls for TCU in anything. Ever. Yeah, I have friends who went there, but as a school, I want them to fail. All the time. Without exception. It's like a Yankee fan saying "Gosh, I really hope the Red Sox do well this year." It's just wrong.
TCU victory is in the long term best interests of all non-BCS schools unless you want SMU to be permanently locked into a Future Division 1AA of College Football. Since I want SMU to compete at the highest levels of College Football I'm glad the non-BCS school won. Some of you would be happy piling up 10 win seasons against Liberty and Sul Ross and going to the John Deere Tractor Bowl. I want to compete at the Top of College Football and against the BCS no matter how unlikely that appears to be right now. If you want payback some day with UT, A&M or Tech then you want recruits to think that they can compete for BCS Bowls at SMU-just like TCU, Utah, and Boise proved before. And I'll tell you another thing-if that approach is not conveyed to recruits and that they can come to SMU to compete for BCS Bowls, Top 25 rankings and beating TCU on the field and recruiting rather than on message boards then we'll be losing a lot more recruits to TCU in the future.

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
First smart thing some one has said on this thread.
Maybe Sherwood Blount could get this program going again? Probably not, but its worth a shot!
Also, I am sure Carter Wall is very upset he has chosen a school that wins football games, and has made their presence known on a Nat'l scale. Poor guy.....
