The AA luggage dude at curb check in saw my SMU shirt. Started talking about some HS kid from the Congo #45 who's brother was already here.

I kept thinking he was talking Line, but knew he's from Michigan

yes the Yenga family only moved to the United States when I believe Youri was a freshman at Trinity. He didn't play Football until Junior year. So about 8-9 years I think.

The Yengas are from the Democratic Republic of Congo...going to see huge numbers of West Africans (either born there or one generation removed), in the NFL in 5 years.

When is he visiting Kansas ? This week end ? If he goes, and you could bet on it, what do you think the odds would be that he commits to the Jayhawks ? ?

Lawerence is nice - compared to Dallas? Please.

Those that play for us will be champions. Not so at KU

I've decided that he has no idea what he's doing. And neither does he.

I had a great time in Lawrence...what I remember at least. Would I want to live there? No. But a very fun place to visit. Relatively close to KC as well.

Lawrence is a cool town and KC is a cool city and similar in distance of a Norman to OKC or more like Dallas to Denton.

Now, I like KC and Lawrence, but make no mistake they are dying economies and the future is in Texas. I just don't expect a 18 year old kid to know that or even take it into consideration if he did know it.
