Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRI hope he qualifies...
Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BR
Are you just saying that or is there reason for concern? "smupony94: Harry, you have been promoted to purveyor of official status capabilities."
Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRLet's just hope we see him on campus in the summer.
Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRIf there was any reason to be concerned over DM qualifying he would be going the state school route considering all of his offers. Do not worry about grades. Worry about him being poached.
Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRThe Majority Leader is fishing for subscription info. I haven't heard a thing-but doesn't he go to a strong academic school. That's usually the determing factor because its really not hard to qualify if a kid is minimally educated

What in the world would make you single out Moreland for a question like that? By all accounts, he is fine academically. Oh ... bleacherreport is a joke, and there's a lot of talk that Moreland will end up as a stand-up pass-rushing OLB, like Ja'Gared Davis. I really shouldn't drink and type.
Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRBut he took his official visit to Oregon State in December and I guess Oregon is back in on him now?
Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRI think you maybe thinking of the other Top Calfornia recruit named Devon Blackmon or something.who is going to Oregon

Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRYou're probably right. Thanks for clearing that up. Actually, I wasn't fishing for academic stuff on Moreland. With as good a prospect as he is, call me guilty of falling into my own built recruiting hysteria trap. No agenda at all.
Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRMoreland btw goes to Salesian High School which is a Catholic private school. He has probably gotten all kinds of SAT prep-so guys like that usually ain't as likely to get knocked out by SAT/ACT scores. More competitive sometimes for GPA though. You could have a kid at a private school like St. Marks who was at the Bottom of his Class in GPA score higher than 1,100 SAT

Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRI think the fact that there are no real reports that he has been looking at other schools or taken other visits suggests there are no academic concerns.
PONY UP!
Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BR"he's a bit under the radar"
Whatever. Just because he's committed to SMU does not mean he's "under the radar." I think offers from 7 or 8 BCS programs proves that Snuffers cheese fries
Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BRHe's a' bit under the radar/'....total BS...he will rule the CUSA before he's through. ...game changa

Well Otto, I guess Mitch was right. He did not qualify the first time. Now let's see if he qualifies this time around. "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown
