Another unguarded 3 pointer by UAB. 31-21 and another SMU turnover.

Another mighty long 3 by UAB. Looks like Houston again.

I would say there is no way UAB can keep hitting 3s like that against us - but I've seen it happen enough times it wouldn't surprise me...

LOL I saw that too. Down 9 at half, not much to say...UAB hit a few key threes, but for the most part, their percentage sucked and we rebounded well. Our TOs were not really out of line, we just didn't knock down the shots we should have.

Dia is getting nice looks and he started hitting a couple at the end. Need to feed him relentlessly in the second half and when they start triple teaming, kick out for some threes.

We have a chance, but we are in an unnecessary hole, like most nights.

Go Ponies!

34-25 UAB at halftime. Poor offensive SMU game.

FG UAB 44%, SMU 42%

3 Pts UAB 445 SMU 44% UAB has taken 7 more shots

TO UAB 4 SMU 7

Stats don't show how poor our offense was.

Suprising stats, I would have guessed both teams would have been under 40 percent. The 7 more shots are definately the key. They took some wild ones though, need to goad them into doing that in the second half and we need Papa Dia to take over.

I love exhibition hoops on benadryl. Go fighting Dia's!

7 turnovers against UAB on the road is actually a nice total. And, SMU really only took good shots all half, many wide open looks. The problem was, we didn't knock them down. On the road, need to hit those.

I have no problem saying we had much easier looks than UAB and took care of the basketball pretty good, we just didn't hit those open looks.

Hopefully can do better here in the second half, but we have dug ourselves a 9 point hole.

Do they also have a slight rebounding edge?
