14 point loss that could have been vastly different if we could hit a few inside shots.

He is lucky we surrendered and didn't keep fouling and giving them free pitches.

Enjoy your winnings - although I can't imagine how stressful it would be to bet on SMU in any sport -ever.

Woohoo! God bless .5! at least I can take solace in the fact that I won the bet.

SMU just has no depth to play the last 10 minutes, we get sloppy and eff it up royally.

Still though, most C-USA teams will lose to UAB in the great state of Alabama, the Houston loss was a real killer.

Lets see what we can do against Southern Miss who lost to Memphis by 1 tonight.

Game Tracker showed a 51 to 66 final. I felt bad for you. Went back and it showed 53 to 67. Congratulations.

Actually, My SMU roommate and team mate is now a big time bookie in Dallas, I only bet on SMU games, always take SMU, and let me tell you, those oddsmakers are smart. I only bet SMU in Football and Basketball, for the last 12 years, and out of those 100s of games, it is pretty much around 50 percent.

The way I look at it, just gives some extra incentive to watch these dreadful games. Only bet on SMU, and I have never been mad when they won but did not cover (although that is a rare occurance in any sport for the ponies).

Tough loss.

Didn't help that Dia got off to a 0-for-7 start from the field.

6-21 is pretty awful considering most were w/in 6ft. Not sure where Nyakundi went, only launching 8 shots is out of character. We got looks, just didn't convert a thing.

Papa missed many wide open looks he would normally hit, although at the end of the day, we probably did not have the talent or the depth to beat UAB on the road, all though, if we hit a few of those shots we usually make, could have been much closer.

I don't know this team like you die-hards do. But I do know that this current roster is basically two players in Papa and Nyakundi. And the rest are guys named Herb. I'm going off of the players I saw in the games I went to last year.

And if Dia and Nyakundi aren't having good games simultaneously, this team has no chance.

If I'm wrong, tell me.

BTW -- Can't go to the Southern Miss game. My 10-year-old blossoming post plays at 1. And her game will probably be more interesting way (biased statement, of course).
