You're right - his work ethic will carry him a long way, in football and in real life after football.

Here's hoping Joey gets to fulfill his dream of suiting up with the Ponies, and here's to a lifetime of good health.

Joey will be back and his spirit will carry him far in life even after his playing days are over....he WILL play again here at SMU. His determination is too strong not to allow that to happen. Keep the faith Joey!
