To all SMU students:
I wanted to take a moment to thank those who came out for our game against Southern Miss on Saturday. You made a difference and played a big role in our win.
When you come out and cheer us on, you impact the game and our program in so many ways – you energize our team, you distract our opponents and you impress anyone visiting our campus.
College athletics are the best of all sporting events because of you - the students - who come out in force to create a unique atmosphere not found in any other sport.
I look forward to seeing you (and your friends) in Moody next Wednesday, Feb. 2, when we face East Carolina at 7 p.m. Thanks again.
Pony Up!

Wise choice and an easy note to write and wouldnt doubt there were special notes to the frats and sororities. Hey I will admit they are actaully a fun team to watch right now, win or lose. They look so much better coached this year, its not funny. And the way they are shooting, its fun for them as well. The scoring is also evenly distributed, so everyone is involved.

Its amazing to me how much progress this team has made THIS season. We squeaked out wins against schools that no one has ever heard of and now we're winning against legit CUSA programs like Memphis and Southern Miss. When did the light come on?
Back off Warchild seriously.

this email was sent to the entire student body, no special emails sent to Greeks that I am aware of unless he sent it to the IFC and asked them to hand it down.

The team got noticably better when he started playing Collin Mangrum. For some reason that addition was what we needed to tip us over to decent from not so good.
Have a ways to go for pretty good or great - but it appears help is on the way.

You may want to fix the typo in that first sentence.

Thanks - a particularly bad typo around these parts.

Props to Doh for doing this, hopefully it will cause more people to come out vs. ECU.

Never underestimate the benefits of having to practice against people at your talent level or better.....Mangrum has been a really nice addition - hope he doesn't take a seat at the end of the bench now that Pats is eligible...............
