If that's true, then you have Michigan (1997-- shared national championship) and Ohio State (2002) fitting perfectly in that time period.
Thanks

Ohio State is like 23-3 in the last two years. Just terrible.

Helps when half your games are against the likes of Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern, Michigan (the last few years), and Minnesota.
Back off Warchild seriously.

And the MAC. Decent wins recently would be Arkansas and Oregon. Anyone else?StallionsModelT wrote:Helps when half your games are against the likes of Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern, Michigan (the last few years), and Minnesota.

And the arkansas win was due to 6 dropped piggy passes.
The meaningful test is when they play outside of thier own (weak) conference in bowl games. Dont make us dredge that record up again.

Ohio State is probably the best football program in the country right now...no one has been doing it more consistently the last 15 years...
I hate the big 10...but sometimes it helps to be honest...

NickSMU17,
Until last season Texas had like 11 straight 10 plus win seasons. I'd say they were doing on the same level as Ohio State.

I am no fan of the Big10, but they do consistently place more players in the NFL than either the Big12 or PAC10.

In the ten year period from 2000 to 2009:StallionsModelT wrote:NickSMU17,

1 Boise State 0.86822 win percentage 112 wins 17 losses
2 Texas 0.85271 110 19
3 Oklahoma 0.82090 110 24
4 Ohio State 0.80315 102 25
5 Southern Cal 0.79688 102 26
Texas won eight more games and lost six fewer during that decade. Even if you add in this year, Texas is still one game ahead of Ohio State since 2000.

And the SEC has the miserable likes of Vandy, Kentucky, Ole Miss (I'm sure they get a pass for this year by you blowhardsgostangs wrote:And the arkansas win was due to 6 dropped piggy passes.

Every freaking conference has these teams in them. In the Big 12, see Iowa State, KU, Baylor and tech. In the Pac 10, see ASU, Cal, WSU and UCLA.
As for the Sugar Bowl... all those dropped passes were Arkansas' problem. Catch the football, dumbxxx and then you can talk trash. Bottom line is Ohio State had more than Arkansas. And that's what we'll all remember.
Go shove it, gostangs. BEHOLD THE POWER OF THE BIG 10!!! I'm really pissed about this.
