Anyone know if Bennett has contacted these guys yet? What do they think? ProudPonyPa, maybe you could fill us in.

Thanks in advance.

Coach Bennett knew who they were when he interviewed and called them all (he said 15 of them) after his press conference Wednesday. Supposedly, he called several others, also. His brother, Jerry I think, long-time coach in Jefferson who will be a position coach, is making connections throughout East Texas with his peers. Interestingly enough, Jerry had a OL named Holland go to Florida State 3 years ago, but I've not seen him on the field yet.

Montrae Holland has done well at Florida State. He's started some games over the last two years, but his 2001 season was cut short by injury.

Wow! That's great! Who would have thunk it? Blagg had some good success against him in HS, but Holland was much better on the offensive side of the ball. Glad to hear he is competing and competing well. Thanks for the info.
