After reading this for some reason I can't get the comment Jerry Jones made a couple years ago about only drafting for special teams...

Wow! Looking forward to watching an SMU WR with a RB mentality.

My only question is why are they posting a video soliciting recruiters 8 days before signing day?

Not attacking, just wondering...

My guess is this is the video they used for recruiting and just know posted it on Youtube. At least that is my hope.

Not sure of the level of competition (they look fairly small), but I'd like to see him break some more of those long runs if the competition is indeed lower quality.

He does have electric stuff though. Resembles Reggie Bush somewhat with his accelration and moves at top speed in the open field.

With him, J.R. and a few of our other recruits, I think our return game will be lethal next year. Better field position might make this offense look a lot better next year.

He plays in 2A in Louisiana-quite frankly I don't follow Louisiana High School Football enough to tell you how many kids from 2A are Division 1A College recruits but I bet its a factor. He looks like he has adequate speed but compare him the Robinson kid whose speed and acceleration jump out at you. He's got great bloodlines though-his Dad is for NFL WR Trumaine Johnson

That is always my problem with these tapes. No way to know the level of competition. If it is a kid that someone personally goes and watches them play, that may provide a better opinion, but this is tough. The coaches have to know exactly what they are looking for rather than just big plays.

What did we recruit him as a WR? at 6' and liking to hit I could see him as a CB that takes some PR/KR duties
