You are correct, sir. I dont think anybody goes to Idle Rich, Blackfriar, Renfields or the Old Monk for a culinary experience. Probably looking for an experience of a different kind. At least the dudes are. Especially at the Blackfriar.

monk has good food. great fish & Chips. pretty decent onion soup. cheese board is good too.

can't say the same about the other places.

Had the #5 at Kellers again last night. Still awesome. O rings are winners too.

Had it last time I was in town ... and it was good enough that I went back and had another the next day before leaving town. Really good.

I thought I remembered Pony Pride saying he went there at lunch. So I went by at lunch one day...looked like they werent open though...or at least if so it was very, very slow

anyone who's had a burger in NM knows the green chile cheeseburger rules.

My favorite is from Bert's in Santa Fe.

Ran across this today...where to find one next time you're in NM.

No kidding! Great GCC burgers at the Taos Inn bar and at the ski area. RGV maybe we ought to do a SMU-in-Taos 4 day summer program course sometime.
