Re: Are you going to pay for DMN content online?I think they could provide cheaper options. NYT is going ppv soon.
Online you do miss some pictures and stories that are deeply hidden. As for the new layout, not that great.
Are you going to pay for DMN content online?I get my news from ponyfans.com

I hope they stay alive until I cannot read anymore. Simply cannot stare at a PC and read a newspaper. I have tried. I currently subscribe to 5 print newspapers with a different resaon for each one and had a 6th until the Washington Post stopped its mail delivery.

I am with you. If you lose your eyesight I will read it to you if you will do the same should I lose mine first. All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand

That's why there are iPads and iPhones. ![]() ![]() ![]() For me, I get less than 2% of my news from TV, at most 5% from print, remainder is split evenly between PC and iPhone. I have the DMN app on my phone. If they start charging me for it, will probably go elsewhere for my news. BTW, some terrific deals in print magazine, as they are dying as well. Money Magazine can be had for $10 per year.

Re: Are you going to pay for DMN content online?yes Money and Fortune are $10 a year, definitely a bargain.
DMagazine has a very robust online presence now. I understand the DMN has to go with the trends - just not sure I like the pay structure or the layout the way they have changed it. Tim Colishaw and JJT are the most talented columnists either. I hardly ever read the FW Star T, might have to look at that for the professional sports.

don't expect much different from Startlegram. they did a JV w/ DMN a year ago where they share content on sports to cut costs. Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Are you going to pay for DMN content online?
I am a Blackberry guy and for various reasons I currently have no desire to own an IPhone or any other touch screen devise. Just does not work for me and my outdoor life. Print magazines are by far the best source of in-depth information on areas of interest. I know most of the specialized non-news mags I subscribe to are holding their readership fairly well. The only problem is finding the time to read them.
Re: Are you going to pay for DMN content online?you can find really cheap deals on print mags online.

Re: Are you going to pay for DMN content online?I support this decision 100%. I have long been wondering how in hades they could afford to give free content away.
No, I won't subscribe.
