everyone else has cancelled school. didn't see SMU on the list. i'm signed up for a GMAT class tonight way up at Legacy campus. i may have to cancel that.

3 things struck me about this front

its not gonna be warm enough to melt this stuff for 2 more days

im really happy about this stick in the eye to roger goodell...let's see how fun a superbowl in NYC will be, cuz they have good enough weather somehow?

this is terrible for our superbowl unless the teams have tirechains for their buses.

not a good showing for SuperBowl week of Dallas. This happens pretty rarely here - very bad luck.

The same thing happened in Atlanta in 2000, although it was the weekend before. I, along with the rest of the city, am convinced this is the reason there has not been a Super Bowl here since.

sucks cuz i'm working a contract gig right now and my client's office is closed. no work = no $.

oh well. guess i'll watch the Generation Kill boxset today.

oh yeah, watched it the first time. bought it on blu-ray when it was first released, but haven't re-watched it since. three episodes down so far.

i read the book about 5 years ago. great read if you haven't read it. but hbo did a great job with the screen adaptation.
