Cancelled my CBS CS subscription last week based on lousy coverage. Bummer, no Channel Surfing.

well, they need to legalize this somehow. No reason to go to each individual site and have to pay for NFL, MLB, MLS, NCAA, and NHL feeds individually. Pretty stupid.

Each satellite provider charges way too much for their packages. Time for TV to be a la cart.

I'm actually surprised that the satellite companies/cable companies allow slingbox to exist.

That is coming from your box and service that you paid for.

right. However, I could see the satellite/cable people looking at it like:

before slingbox
service at home
service at condo

after slingbox
service at home
slingbox at condo, using the service from home

...just sliced their pie in two

Isn't it ironic that some folks who get irritated about putting Rivals or Scout content on here aren't nearly as "holier than thou" when it comes to Channelsurfing vs. All Access?

Okay, I'm going to put in a plug for subscribing. When you don't pay for copyrighted services, the networks that carry that programming don't get paid. For example CBSC gets money from cable and satellite companies based on the number of subscribers. CBSC then turns around and pays CUSA for rights to carry the events. CUSA then turns around and pays SMU. Yes, each layer peels off a little money. But the net result is that SMU gets paid something. And further by circumventing the process, it does not show up in the ratings which dictate the price paid in the next round of negotiations. I understand cheap and saving money. But pay the man!

I get your point. I have cbsc. Smu is not on the tv channel once this yr. All-access is a terrible feed and not worth subscribing to. If there was a better product, I'd be happy to pay.
