Getting those NLIs will be more than interesting.

Most area school districts, including Dallas ISD, have decided to stay closed Wednesday. Arlington ISD, Garland ISD, Keller ISD, Northwest ISD, Allen ISD, McKinney ISD, Richardson ISD , Irving ISD, Mesquite ISD, Lewisville ISD , Plano ISD and Frisco ISD are among the many area school districts that have canceled classes for Wednesday. The University of North Texas will also be closed.

Tim Carroll, spokesman for Allen ISD, said the decision to call off school again Wednesday was not hard.

He noted that many secondary roads in the district are impassably icy. "We’re not even talking side streets," he added.

Many sidewalks too "are completely covered" in ice, he said.

I betcha these things probably got pushed back a couple of hours and will still be held at the coaches offices. Instead of the 8, maybe it's 11 or something like that? Let the ice thaw...

that would be a great marketing idea for someone like whataburger, arbys or someone if they could implement it that quickly. it's not like we're the only state hit by this.
