USC with 31 commitments

Postby PonyPlayer4 » Wed Feb 02, 2011 3:35 pm

So much for NCAA sanctions and scholarship penalties. Anyone know anything more on the situation, or can explain on how they are able to do this?

9 counted toward 2010
They were limited to 15 in 2011
But they appealed and they are allowed to sign as many scholarship as they are requesting to be reinstated by their appeal

We that just goes to show how tough the NCAA sanctions were against USC. If we get sanctions, does that mean we get to ignore signing limits too?

So what happens to all the players they sign if they lose the appeal?

well it is based on the wording of the NCAA appeal provision. If they don't get recruits reinstated they are still looking at a loss of 30 over 3 years-10 lost per year

If the sanctions are not overturned then USC will eventually have to start paying the price.

Apparently The Lansta would rather have some players with some experience in his system before having to actually submit to the NCAA.

USC is not going to get out of jail free they just are delaying and mitigating the inevitable.

How does a team with sanctions end up with the #4 class in the country. Insane.
