i can't stand the bastardization of the Martini. Martini is either Gin or Vodka (really gin) with varying amounts of dry vermouth to taste, and a dash of bitters. served chilled in a stemmed cocktail glass (not necessarily the "v" shaped).

the term martini has been butchered by hack bartenders trying to "-tini" up everything.
