Good win for Memphis. I like the Barton kids.

Good win for Memphis ( and for CUSA although Gonzaga may have a tough time making the tournament this year) way out in Spokane and the Barton kids are good but the younger Barton brother, 6 '2 Antonio was thrown in as a filler with his higher recruited 6'6 brother Will ala: the Hopkins brothers at SMU. Bryan was the lead recruit like Will and his brother Ryan was the filler and ended up being a good practice player.
But the difference is that Antonio is making a difference for Memphis this year on the court even though he wasn't the lead recruit...good for him.

As you stated, no doubt that the Barton's were a package deal, but the difference is that Antonio was being recruited by high end A-10 type teams himself. He was one of the top 3 or 4 players in Baltimore last year, that they knew would push Jackson for time right away. Ryan just got a free education. Either way, they are both proof that packages can work for the programs and kids.

No outcomes really helped SMU, but was really no biggie.

Only 3 conference games on Wednesday, so we can get that game back on a lot of teams against Tulane.

Win that Tulane game, and we set up our game of the century out in El Paso to move into first for the conference!
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Yea, he's good. The folks at Maryland were pissed the staff didn't offer both as a package, mostly b/c we weren't going to do much better at PG. He's legit.

What's shocking is UCF's collapse -- last place.

Weren't they ranked in December along with posting a win over Florida?

Weird.

They went undefeated in OOC play and won their first C-USA game and were ranked #18 in the country. Since then, they have lost 7 conference games in a row. Weird indeed!
