Most times the most outrageous actions are perpetrated by people who aren't affiliated in any way to the U they supposedly support!

Remember the USC-UCLA stabbing/riot at the Rose Bowl this year?

No one on either side of that fiasco had any affiliation to the colors they were wearing other than being, and I used the term loosely, "FANS".

As SMU gets better we can only hope that we will attract many fans that have not affiliation to the university. One can only hope that we attract classy fans, but fans choose you, not the other way around. To say that TCU fans are trashy and classless is just disingenuous.

This happens all over the place. And tame as can be compared to Arkansas in LR and Ohio State in Columbus. And it was pretty mild. One would even question whether it would be called heckling. The embarrassment was the stadium setup that put opponent players in a gauntlet of TCU fans.


NIce to see the Baylor bunch lose composure over such mild and relatively harmless comments. No wonder they got their butts kicked if the best they can do is get into [deleted] matches with middle aged overweight men.

The winning team should be in a great mood after the game unless there was

an incident during the game that they were upset about, and even then should get

over it because of the win, but the losing team would be in no mood to hear

any kind of trash talk.

The "officer" was just as wrong as the man (or more so) because he allowed this to happen and to continue when he could have/should have put a stop to the heckling immediately!

What was the cop supposed to stop? This is college football, not some kindergarten, romper room, everyone must feel good about themselves fantasy land. And these players just heard a whole lot of less flattering things during the game.

No profanity. Nothing about being the products of animal husbandry experiments. Nothing thrown at them, no spitting.

Why didn't the cop do something about the profanity the Baylor players and staff seem to spout out? What about the physical threats the Balyor crew felt safe to make?

Does one really think our players don't hear this as well? Are there some that really believe that post game all fans and players come together in one big happy Kumbaya love fest?

Did the Baylor players and staff respond with class? Not only did they not respond with class, they did respond with profanity and threats of physical violence.

But the cop is suppose to ignore the physical threats and chastise a guy whose only 'crime' is crummy sarcasm and irony.

Everybody and their freaking brother basically wiped their collective asses with tcu for about 50 + years, including SMU. tcu makes a nice little run of late and this is what they have to show for it...[deleted] those two completely classless butt wipes!
