I quite frankly am embarrassed by these two. I unfortunately have seen this type of behavior by all fans of the old SWC except Rice. It does not and should not ever excuse these two individuals.

I was telling my wife about this thread and she reminded me that everyone here would have been embarrassed by some of the comments I was yelling at the Tech game this year. The Tech fans were not impressed with me chanting "thank you Craig James" or "bring back Mike Leach." But then again they weren't impressed with her sneaking booze into the game in baby bottles either. She also reminded me of the woman who yelled "take out their quarter back" during the entire second half of the TCU game this year.

And for the record, Mrs. Dubs has already announced that the baby bottles will be at Kyle Field this fall!

Good stuff, Mr. and Mrs. Dubs.
Of course, it will be far more pleasant if, as has been suggested, the game is moved to the Alamodome.

As an SMU fan (not ex), I couldn't help but be disappointed when TCU came over here to play football twice in the last five years, and my granddaughter, a TCU student, saw all around her our students wearing "TCU SUCKS!" emblazoned. Mild, I guess, but really reflective of SMU's classiness?

I allow a lot of slack for college kids, that's the fun on being in college.

Completely agree with this post. Well said. Obviously these TCU "fans" were acting like 19 year old college students and not grown men. I think it showed a complete lack of class. However, I heard a lot worse at the SMU game last year from SMU fans and, as a player, I heard much much worse on more than one occasion.

I also found it ironic that the BU players did not react. It was the coaches who didn't keep their cool. Not sure why everyone is making such a big deal about this.

"Good job Big XII"

"If you had been that mean on the field, it wouldn't have been 45-10"

"It stings"

What was the cop supposed to stop? This is college football, not some kindergarten, romper room, everyone must feel good about themselves fantasy land. And these players just heard a whole lot of less flattering things during the game.

No profanity. Nothing about being the products of animal husbandry experiments. Nothing thrown at them, no spitting.

Why didn't the cop do something about the profanity the Baylor players and staff seem to spout out? What about the physical threats the Balyor crew felt safe to make?

Does one really think our players don't hear this as well? Are there some that really believe that post game all fans and players come together in one big happy Kumbaya love fest?

Was the TCU fan displaying class. No

Did the Baylor players and staff respond with class? Not only did they not respond with class, they did respond with profanity and threats of physical violence.

But the cop is suppose to ignore the physical threats and chastise a guy whose only 'crime' is crummy sarcasm and irony.

I guess the Froggies are having a hissy fit over West Coast Johnny posting the vid here and on the Baylorfans Board...

West Coast Johnny - just wondering why you chose to post the video, which I consider not very flattering to TCU, on both the SMU and Baylor boards?

I've wondered the same thing all day.

Because the video is so damn funny.

You are just as bad as those guys on the film. Posting that video on the Baylor and SMU boards, really. Way to make TCU look good. A+ effort. Time for you to stop posting topics.

Impending cannibalism as they eat their own?

Totally

Was wondering that too. He was all about moving the Baylor guys along though.

I could only imagine what this scene might have been like if Bennett had been around. He probably would have pulled a Mike Leach on the guy.

What do you expect from football players who just finished a game?....they just lost and were in a bitter mood and these guys were egging them on....they should have had their heads ripped off...and they complained about the Baylor players? I like the comment about poking a stick at a tiger in a cage. Needless heckles after the game and then to have the nerve complaining about Baylor retaliating was the most classless from these goofs.

Well they also displayed some major hypocrisy for calling out the Baylor players/staffers for their lack of "Christian spirit." I don't think a good Christian would want to portray himself the way those losers were acting. How does putting others down make you any more of a person? TCU proved the better team on the field that day and that should be enough satisfaction. There was no need for that. The only purpose for heckling is to get inside your opponents head, once the game is over it needs to stop. Had they made those comments during the game at least you could say they were trying to help their team by agitating the opponent but in this case what purpose did it serve. During the game I might give them a pass, but at that point in time I think it was simply embarrassing. You can hate your rival, but always show them the respect they deserve as we are all humans at the end of the day.

Exactly, those clowns should have been celebrating their win with their purple people, instead

of trying to start a problem.

My guess is that TCU guy was one of the many former TCU players who played on losing, I mean really losing like 0 wins or one win for 30 years , and now is thinking he is special because of what the Patterson era frogs have done. There are a lot like him but there are many more good people at TCU. I had more of a problem with the DPS trooper(retirement must be around the corner) and no TCU security to patrol that area! TCU needs Baylor games more than Baylor needs TCU!
