FW had a parking lot for a portable media booth.

When was the last time you were down town fort worth ?

And furthermore what happened to Dallas Alley ?

I went to FW once a week for several months end of last year. I like FW. The people are great.

But at the end of the day when the spoils of winning the SB for the area was split amongst the cities, Dallas got the vast majority of the parties/events.

Bass money has made Fort Worth.
It's a different breed of folks for sure.

Great place to walk around at night. You will never be approached for spare change as in her counterpart Fair Park, or any of the places in Dallas I seem to occasionally end up in. Someone is always coming up behind me with their hand out except for SMU / Highland Park.

Save purple FTW is ok.

Media loves a theme and they want to show DFW as a bunch of cow-loving, boot-wearing, BBQ-eating rednecks. FW fit the bill, it's just that simple. They'll save the more sophisticated arts and urban-life depiction when the SB is in NY. We'll just have to deal with Disney's...I mean ESPN's depiction of us Texans for just one more day...

Slash looked good.

Aguilera's National Anthem was interesting.

From what I read, the Dallas County Comissioners were the ones that had final say on whether Jerry World would be in Dallas or not. Madam NO, was more vocal about it and I am sure the Commissioners were more than happy to let her take the heat for it.
