Me too. The only reason I might tune into the Super Bowl is to see ES.

Forgive me as I am not sure about posting worthy stuff but I wanted to add that this has been a great year at SMU. Not only from the school aspect but having my son's face end up on the TV screen every week on The Climb and on a very compelling movie. Now end it all with him being able to hang out with a former team mate who is now a Green Bay Packer, Its just the icing on the cake. We are really looking forward to this years Super Bowl and to more magic at SMU

Where else could they play the game that wouldn't be problem free?
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

That wouldn't? I think there's 31 other NFL cities that could potentially have problems and therefore meet that criteria.

Different reason but Stallions opening comment was more than a little prophetic. There was the seat problem and what I thought a pretty bad half time. The advertising was not what we've come to expect. Worst of all from my perspective was the worst version of the National Anthem I've ever heard in a stadium that was home to the cowboys.

So far as the Star Spangled Banner is concerned it looks like the NFL could make some effort to insure a performer who knows the words and the music.

I can't see how the shows producer can add that mess to his resume.

The game was alright. The rest of it was not up to standards.

I have nothing to compare it to from a host city perspective. Of course you can't predict the weather and this was something I haven't seen in Dallas for temps to be below freezing for so long.

Logistically, Dallas is just not the right place for a SuperBowl. Way too spread out for teams and fans. I won't expect to see it here for a long time. Houston hasn't had it again - NFL just likes the new stadiums to show off.

Did anyone listen to Reinbold on the Sky broadcast? I wasn't sure if you could hear it online or not.

That's ridiculous. Ever been to Phoenix? ESPN was in Scottsdale, over 30 miles from Glendale, where their last super bowl and the NFL experience was held. And they've hosted another in Tempe. What will you say when the game is in New Jersey, being "hosted" by New York City? Is L A compact enough for fans?

I think it turned into a bigger mess than it should have. (1) The temporary seat debacle, never should have happened. (2) Singers forget lyrics all the time. Unfortunately, for Aguillara, it was on a song everyone knew and to make it worse, she didn't just sing the song she interpreted it. (3) Halftime -What was that? People with boxes on their heads? The game should have been a Green Bay romp. Luckily the Steelers made a game of it and kept it interested. And really that's all that matters is the game, not the other crud.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
