Best weather forecast comes from the guys that don't have to sell commercials based upon false hope/false fear. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd/BTW here is an excerpt from the forecast discussion (full text here: http://forecast.weather.gov/product.php ... glossary=1) RAPID CHANGES STILL LOOK TO OCCUR TUESDAY NIGHT BY LATE EVENING AND AFTER...AS FIRST SHORTWAVE ROTATES THROUGH THE CENTRAL PLAINS INTO THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY...DRAGGING ARCTIC AIRMASS DOWN HIGH PLAINS AND INTO NW TX/OK/RED RIVER VALLEY BY MIDNIGHT. THE NE COUNTIES WILL LIKELY BE AN INITIAL BACKDOOR OF CURRENT AIRMASS STILL RESIDING OVER THE OZARKS AND TN VALLEY AND WILL BE JUST REINFORCED MAINLY AS ARCTIC AIRMASS RACES IN FROM THE NNW AND REACHES SE COUNTIES BY OR SHORTLY AFTER DAYBREAK. MEANWHILE...UPPER ENERGY NOW DEEPENING OVER NW STATES/WRN CANADA WILL CONTINUE TO DEEPEN OVER THE ROCKIES THROUGH THE DAY TUESDAY...THEN LIFT ESE ACROSS THE SRN PLAINS AND COMBINE WITH THE FRONT TO USE ISALLOBARIC VERTICAL MOTIONS TO QUICKLY SATURATE/COOL THE ATMOSPHERIC COLUMN BY 12Z/DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY AND BEYOND.
RAIN WILL LIKELY CHANGE OVER TO A SLEET/RAIN/SNOW MIX ACROSS THE N/NW COUNTIES AFTER MIDNIGHT...BEFORE TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW BY MID MORNING TO MIDDAY ALONG AND NORTH OF A COMANCHE...HILLSBORO...CANTON LINE. DOWN SOUTH...THE TRANSITION WILL LIKELY OCCUR MORE AFTER DAYBREAK AND THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS WITH A RAIN/FREEZING RAIN TRANSITION BRIEFLY THROUGH MID MORNING...BEFORE GOING TO A RAIN/SLEET /SNOW MIX BY MIDDAY...THEN LIKELY JUST SLEET OR SNOW IN THE AFTERNOON. WE HAVE INCREASE SNOW/SLEET ACCUMULATIONS TO 3-5 ALONG RED RIVER VALLEY...TO 2-4 INCHES ALONG I-20 CORRIDOR...TO 1-3 JUST SOUTH OF I-20 WITH SOME POTENTIAL TO SEE A TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS OF ICE ACCUMULATION SOUTH OF A COMANCHE...HILLSBORO...ATHENS LINE.

Our best crowds are when we have snow days. I know you guys want to make it, but the more students, the better
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

They said 6-8 inches in Little Rock. The State of Arkansas will close for the remainder of the winter. Someone put a stamp on a gallon of milk and send it to me. The stores will be empty by noon tomorrow. Even the lactose intolerant run out to buy milk when a storm is forecast. I just do not understand.
Of course last year they predicted an 8 inch snow fall and it never did anything. Hopefully if we get 8 inches they use the same ruler I made and gave to my wife with which to measure me.

Problem is not the fans, it is the opposing team making it to Dallas.

I'm just hoping that we can take a step to improving on last season's seven wins. A win tomorrow will put is close but it is high time Tulane found some form. 7 straight losses..... It might be a good sign, or a bad one.

Day of another big game. One we need to win but more importantly, should win. We are better. Yes we blew it earlier this year but this is a different team. Execute and improve tonight use this game to prepare for a challenging road trips to El Paso and Houston.
Go Ponies.

Let's do this, I'm fired up, if not nervous.

Unless there is a rapid change in the roads, I'm probably out for tonight. Just not real fond of driving 30 miles on ice to get to a basketball game.
