It would be nice if they would put some of the old turf on the hill (south end zone)and paint SMU on it.

That bare hill with dead grass destroys the look of the stadium and looks horrible.

Have you ever been on field turf with the sun bearing down on it? It would be about 130 degrees. Little kids sliding down it would be medium rare to well done by the time they reached the bottom.

You don't need turf. Maybe some fertilizer?

I saw the construction/destruction crew working at the stadium Sunday morning and stopped by and spoke with them. Nobody with "big picture" knowledge was on hand - just the workers who were hauling off the many rolls of old turf. Said their deadline for completion was March 31 - which coincides with the start of spring drills.

Any truth to the rumor that instead of the classic red pony and the new turf (and marketing starting next season, etc) will feature a black outline of something similar to the 3 mustangs statue in front of Moody?

Not that I have heard.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Seeing as how Army owned us, I don't have a problem with black end zones. If the Mustangs get to play another home bowl or conference championship at Ford, then I think the team deserves to have red and blue again.
