Are "cut ups" sessions something unique to the June's program or pretty typical for most college programs?

"Cut ups" are common in Texas high school programs much less college. Generally, all of the defensive plays in a game are strung together and all of the offensive plays are strung together. That way the players can better concentrate on their position play. However, SMU might have some use of the cut ups or special preparation of cut ups that is unique to their program.
