Call, email, write letters, etc. to SMU President Gerald Turner and Athletic Director Jim Copeland on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday) and let 'em know: WE SUPPORT PHIL BENNETT!!!! WE SUPPORT THE SMU MUSTANGS!!!

If they decide to call Phil 'on the carpet' for the post-game incident...so be it. But by god...they better not suspend him or fine him. For once, we've got a coach that'll show our players that we're not going to take any more crap off of other teams!

I doubt they will reprimand Bennett.....unless there is more to the story.

Have we heard....were any punches actually landed?

Unless Leach files charges against Bennett, I doubt anything will happen.

Although it probably is a good idea to e-mail Turner and Copeland to show our support for Bennett.

It is great to see some fire from our coach!

if anthing - our schedule of playing a few 'little 12' teams annually along with texas criminal university & our regular c-usa schedule is like having the best of both worlds!

- at least until the bcs-bs monopoly/cartel is broken up!!!!
