UTEP Promotion --- RED OUT

$40= 4 tickets + 4 Mustang Mania T-shirts -- hmmm, is this the start of Mustang Mania again?

So if I already have 2 and buy 2 more, do I get the shirt? Or, can I pass on the meatball for a tshirt?

You gotta have a full house of YOUR OWN FANS to have a color "out". The stuff we put out there is half-hearted and half-a$$.* I admire the effort in trying to pull off a "color-out" - people who have ideas and work their arses off to make it work... BUT even if we had 7,000 attendees, only 50% of SMU-types would participate. Our steady fans are either too cool, too "sophisticated", or they just don't get it. The Geeks who show up don't even wear school colors - SAEs, for instance. The rationalization seems to be "Well, at least they're at the game" - that's not enough. Maybe someday SMU will wake up, but I doubt it.

*The 2010 TCU game at Ford was an outstanding showing for a RED OUT. We could make a statement at Amon Carter this season IF we would purchase all of our alloted tickets and WEAR RED - the way TCU wears purple and Tech wears red at "our" place. I know, dream on.........

It's going to be a blue out, the color of our empty seats. With a bit of orange. My big mouth will be there pulling for the Stangs .

The promotion link only steers you to the $15 tickets. I'm trying to get the little league bball team to come and this is a great promotion. Want the $10 tix, regardless of t-shirt, to get the casual fan.

I tried the link also with the same result. It's typical for this site. At least they got the schools correct unlike the Ole Miss game where one page stated Miss St. and another listed TCU.
