So many scenarios, I may try and look at them all later.

However, we can finish no worse than 8th, and can even still get the number 4 seeed with the bye.

That is a longer shot, we need Tulane to beat Memphis and Tulsa to beat Southern MIss and probably UCF to beat Marshall (although that may not be necessary depending on what ECU does).

Still though, a win against UTEP gives a great shot to be in the 5-7 sweet spot. Number 8 seed is much less desirable as that is a lock to play UCF in the first round.

Anyone else want to tackle this more deeply, give it a shot. I will try and look at it more deeply later.

SMU played UCF in the first round last year and lost. I wouldn't mind a re-match with those guys.
