(2) Tulsa vs. SMU/RICE (CBS College Sports) 8:00p I really want to take SMU here, wouldn't surprise me, but I think Tulsa squeaks by.

I am oddly more confident that we would beat Tulsa than I am that we will beat Rice 3 times this season.

certainly hope we can at least get a 1st round win, but like they say...it's tough to beat a team 3 times in the same year when the two teams are competitive with each other, as it the case with SMU and Rice.

I don't see us playing more than 2 games tops. We just don't have the bench you need to survive these marathon events, especially when we don't have the 1st round bye.

I didn't pay enough attention to everyone's rosters this year, but look for a team that is 10 deep to have the best shot at beating UTEP on their home court.

Kazemi has been a non-factor and we need to keep it that way.
SMU beats Rice, and loses to TU by 10.

UAB / UTEP final, UAB by 2.

Local rag had the line as SMU -1 this AM. Pretty disappointing that we are barely picked to beat a team we handled twice during the season. 3 game losing streak will do that. Reduce turnovers and really work [deleted] the defensive boards a e crucial Wed.

I think their ratings are the most fundamentally solid, and are a great predictor of games.

while that would be great, I still think Memphis pulls it out. I think UTEP will make it to the finals, but Im surprised how many "analysts" picked them to win.
