Tack on another $140k for what Cams dad got.
"This is . . . dedication to distraction by fans. Is that what I'm going to go with Jay?"
"That poor kid has to be wondering what is dad doing."

Maybe the SMU faculty would have a different view toward sports if some of the hard cases we hear about had an expectation of going on bowl trips, huh?

If that's not enough of a reason to kill the bcs-BS, nothing is!!! :D
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Funny thing, Vanderbilt got $2.3 Million for that title game as well. Hope they wrote a thank you card to Auburn. WSU got $2.3 Million for that title game as well. Go figure.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

The way I understand the article is that the overage of $600,000 has to do with their EXPENSE budget provided by the SEC. It does not include their share of the BCS money! I think SMU would probably come up with an extra $600,000 and not complain one bit if they were national champions and receiving a participants share of $20,00,000! In fact, I think a generous donor came up with $300,000 plus so the cheerleaders and band could go to the Hawaii Bowl. Don't forget their share of Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Arkansas and any other bowl revenue. They come out big-time!
